Each year, we strive to hit better heights, and thanks to the hard work of Amanda, Nigel, Jess and Taz this year’s Champs were more memorable than ever. We hope you all had the time of your lives! 🍕 Oh, and not only did we serve up pizza this time, but we also delivered lightning-fast results! ⚡️ If you have feedback or ideas for next year? Let’s not forget the *killer* tunes from our superstar DJ! 🎶 Jonathon’s "Dance with the Stars" Freestyle set the perfect vibe for the competition, and that Tag comp was a blast! 🙌
Jon took us on a musical journey, mixing melt-in-your-ears vibes that made us dance like there was no tomorrow. 'Drum n Base' at the Welshies? Yesss! Even the in-between tracks had us smiling! After the main event, Jon kept us grooving until the early hours when we thought we had no energy.
Then came the grand finale: Jen’s DJ magic at FLAVA! 🎧✨ Pure fire to close out the weekend. And who managed to grab a dance with Dafydd the Dragon? 🐉🔥
Thank you to our incredible judges who brought their expertise and focus: Jamie & Jen, Max & Chrissie, Zoe & Richard, Cane, Matt and Veronika. Huge thanks to Dee for covering for Chloe at the last. We understand she is feeling a lot better and send her everyone's regards. Now, a round of applause for our heroic setup and takedown crew: Taz, Nigel, Richard, Steve, Nick, Suzie, Sandra, Lyndsey, Andy AND several new chaps! You’re like the Avengers of event logistics, only better because you don’t wear capes (though you totally could). 🦸♀️🦸♂️

2025 Sizzling Silc & Scintillating Ceroc!
We are planning another extravaganza. More details to be confirmed and there may be some category changes but you can expect:

Novice Freestyle Trophy
All our dancers started competing somewhere, so why not start your journey here? There is a special feeling of jubilation when you complete your first dance competition. Being on the floor and the roar of the crowd as everyone gets behind you is a euphoric moment! It propels you to take your dancing up to new heights. To this end, we have introduced a category for anyone who has not competed before to find their favourite intermediate dancer* (or another first-timer) and experience the thrill of Ceroc Welsh Champs. ‘Dance with the Stars’ Freestyle
Friday 26th September 2025, Barry Memorial Hall and Theatre
Kickstart your Welsh Champs weekend with this pre-competition freestyle with the last hour dedicated to Silc. With top Ceroc and SILC DJs and the best dancers from around the UK, you are guaranteed an amazing dance experience. Doors 8 pm, ‘Tag’ Competition 9.45 pm, SILC music 12 am, dancing until 1 am.

If you want to propel your dancing to another level there are several Ceroc championships throughout the year. We hope to see you perform there!
